Artist Bio

I was born in France on 30 June 1970. I studied fashion design at Studio Berçot in Paris from 1991-1993. I dedicated most of my career to the designer Yohji Yamamoto. I have collaborated with designers in the past and worked with Carine Roitfeld for her CR Fashion Book. This environment stimulated my imagination and offered me the opportunity to expand my visual perception about form, design, and structure.

Art has always been part of my life and living in Paris gave me easy access to major exhibitions and art museums. My work is very much influenced by Japanese design. I am also inspired by artist like: Avedon, Julie Verhoeven, Madame Yevonde, Comme des Garçons, Picasso and Cindy Sherman.

My art is a colorful web where solid shapes and varied lines interact to keep the viewer in a playful atmosphere of exploration and imagination.

 

I am currently living in Barcelona, Spain and working as a full-time artist and illustrator.
